Metallurgist, engineer, and artist. Takahashi earned his degrees in materials science at Tokyo Institute of Technology before establishing studios in Tokyo’s Ota craftsmanship district and Zurich. He specializes in high-voltage electrochemical anodization of pure grade-1 titanium, creating interference colors that will never fade, peel, or oxidize over centuries.
