Lyra Chen creates acoustic sculptural monuments and kinetic resonance chambers. Trained in ancient bell-foundry metallurgical sciences and modern acoustic physics, Chen casts monumental sculptures from pure bell bronze (80% copper, 20% tin) with custom internal resonators tuned precisely to 144Hz and its natural harmonic overtones. Suspended magnetic actuators gently strike or vibrate the bronze at mathematical intervals, bathing architectural spaces in warm, meditative acoustic fields.
