Raised in the ceramic workshops of Oaxaca and educated in contemporary sculpture at the Universitat de Barcelona. Sienna Cruz merges traditional Zapotec open-pit firing methods with high-fire Japanese raku glazes and volcanic ash from Popocatépetl. Her ceramic sculptures and modular wall installations have been acquired by private foundations in Mexico City, Madrid, and Miami.
